1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of Excel Access Expert ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

2. Services Description

Excel Access Expert provides custom Excel and Access development services, including but not limited to:

  • Excel spreadsheet development and automation
  • Access database design and development
  • VBA programming and macro development
  • Google Apps Script automation
  • Power BI consulting
  • Data integration and migration services

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Hourly Rates

Our hourly rates are as follows:

  • Excel / Access Support: $50–$75 per hour
  • Complex Automation: $90+ per hour

3.2 Fixed Projects

Fixed pricing is available for well-defined projects. Final quotes are provided after consultation and scope review.

3.3 Payment Terms

For hourly projects, billing occurs weekly. For fixed projects, payment is typically 50% upfront and 50% upon completion. All payments must be made via agreed-upon methods.

4. Project Scope and Changes

Project scope is defined during the initial consultation. Any changes to the scope may result in additional charges, which will be discussed and agreed upon before implementation.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate project requirements and information
  • Providing necessary access to systems and data
  • Reviewing and approving deliverables in a timely manner
  • Backing up data before any modifications
  • Testing deliverables and reporting issues promptly

6. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, clients own the custom solutions developed specifically for them. We retain the right to use general knowledge, methodologies, and techniques gained during the project.

7. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential. We are happy to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) for sensitive projects. All files and data shared with us are handled securely and accessed only by authorized personnel.

8. Warranty and Support

We provide a 30-day warranty on all deliverables for defects in workmanship. We will fix any bugs or errors that are our responsibility at no additional charge during this period. Ongoing support is available on an hourly or retainer basis.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits or data loss.

10. Refund Policy

For fixed projects, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. If a project is cancelled before completion, payment for work completed to date is due. Hourly projects are billed for actual time spent.

11. Response Time

We aim to respond to all inquiries within one hour during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM MST). Response times may vary for complex inquiries or during high-volume periods.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate a project with written notice. Payment for work completed to date is due upon termination. We reserve the right to terminate services if payment is not received or if there is a breach of these terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
